Happy Thanksgiving Day!

I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving day today, close to your family and loved ones.

Although Thanksgiving is not a Mexican tradition, we embraced the celebration in our family as a way to be thankful for everything we have, besides,  who wants to pass on a yummy turkey?

I am grateful for My Family, two beautiful children that fill my life with joy and laughter, I am grateful for my Husband who loves me, I am grateful for my home where I can sleep every night.

I am grateful for the Internet, which has let me become an artist and meet all the people I've met and the opportunities it has brought into my life.

I am very grateful for my job and my shop that keeps on growing every year, which lets me do what I like when I feel like it, for I was withering before I became an artist, and I am infinitely grateful for all the love you send when you say you like my work, for It fills my heart and the world my characters live in with joy and happiness. The feed on it and multiply it, and send it back to you on every new thing I create.

Thank you for letting me make the world a more beautiful place.

Happy Thanksgiving Day from the bottom of my heart!

So If you, like me, haven't started yet, or if you already have but you think something is missing, I have the right thing for you!

I've just finished a few ornaments and I'm sure you'll find your favorite in here

"Frida has been such an inspiration throughout my life. Her remarkable story has given me strength when dealing with seemingly impossible circumstances. I even go to an FM clinic in Portland that is named after her! Can you believe my good fortune in being referred there for care? And guess what? It's called the Frida Center for Fibromyalgia in honor of Frida!"

(I'm dying to go!!!).  For the ones who can read Spanish it's packed with information, but also If you don't, all the pictures are worth the supplement.

This exposition and magazine just sparked an idea: I'm going to be making Frida's dresses painting series. I want to have by the end of the year at least 12 painting with some of the dresses that will be shown in this exposition.  What do you think? I can't wait to start!

So, do you want a copy? Just leave a message here saying what you like more about Frida. The winner will be announced next Friday, and you can participate from any part of the world :)
